NOTICE OF VACANCY – CITY COUNCIL – SEAT 2

The City Council of the City of Westlake, Florida is accepting applications from those residents interested in filling a vacancy on the Westlake City Council for Seat 2.  The term of office will begin immediately upon appointment and will expire March 2026.

The City Council will conduct a Special Meeting to review applications and conclude with a selected individual, February 25, 2025, at 6:00 PM to take place at The Lodge at Westlake Adventure Park, located at 5490 Kingfisher Blvd., Westlake, Florida 33470.

Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age, a registered voter of the State of Florida, and a resident of the City of Westlake for at least one (1) year prior to appointment.

Please download and complete an Advisory Board/Committee Application from the Boards & Committee page on the City’s Website  - https://www.westlakegov.com/bc and submit along with a resume to the City Clerk’s office by email to zburgess@westlakegov.com by Thursday, February 20, 2025 at 4:00 PM.
