Election update – The City Clerk is working with several residents on their applications for office. None have completed the application process as of today.
Water Level Complaints – The City received some information and inquiries regarding the lake excavations and water levels. These have been investigated and SFWMD is working with the developer’s contractor for compliance with the SFWMD permit.
Seminole Pratt Whitney Road – The contractor continues to work on the Waters Edge intersection.
Home Development –The City is now up to 305 homes closed in Hammocks and 43 homes closed to date in Meadows. That brings us to a total of 348 homes. If you use the standard of 2.5 individuals per home the current population would be approximately 870 residents.
Florida Power & Light - The FPL Solar site continues to move forward. The Seminole Improvement District is experiencing some issues with some of the work being performed within the rights of way and easements. SID is preparing a letter to FPL and requesting meetings to solve the issue. The issues can be summed up in the lack of proper project management and damage of surrounding areas where they are working.
Land Development Regulations – Staff is continuing to work on the LDR’s for the upcoming council meetings. The LDR’s will begin to be back before you, beginning in February.
Fire Station 22 – The Fire Station is working on a 90-day Temporary Certificate of Occupancy. The building department is working with the contractor to complete the close out of the project.
Roadway lighting on Seminole Pratt Whitney – This is another item that will be brought to the attention of the proper person in FPL.
County Issues - The Administration has a meeting scheduled with the County on the 30th of the month to discuss C4 and other County concerns.
