Solid Waste – The issues with the contractor have continued to be addressed. We are still experiencing some calls regarding service. There are a significant number of residents that have not paid their solid waste bill.

Coffee with the Manager – I will be scheduling the next Coffee with the Manager on Tuesday December 10 from 6-7:30 PM.

Seminole Pratt Whitney Road - The contractor for Seminole Improvement District continues to work on the intersection of SPW and Waters Edge. They will be switching traffic lanes the week after Thanksgiving to begin work in the center section of the road.

Home Development –The City is now up to 290 homes closed as of October 21st. Minto had sales of thirty homes in October. Model construction in both Sky Cove and in Cresswind is progressing well.

Land Development –
• Waters Edge road project continues to move forward with the installation of the first layer of asphalt paving. The projected is still projected for completion in December.
• The Cresswind project is continuing to install infrastructure at a rapid pace. Seminole Improvement District is inspecting the infrastructure improvements.
• Sky Cove project is continuing to install infrastructure and lakes. SID is inspecting the infrastructure work.
• Persimmon East roadway is been bottomed in installing the infrastructure (water, wastewater, re-use, stormwater).
• The contractor is continuing the excavation of the lake in POD J for the perimeter lakes.
 

Florida Power & Light - The FPL Solar site continues to move forward at a good pace.

Land Development Regulations – The City staff and the major land owner continue to work together on the land development regulations. We are fine tuning some of the language therefore some of the sections of the LDR’s will be delayed from December to January.

Housing Assistance Program – We currently have three applicants in the process. To date we have funded 6 applicants with the housing assistance. We met with Label & Co for Sky Cove regarding the program.

Fire Station 22 – The estimated completion date for the station is December 31st. 

Roadway lighting on Seminole Pratt Whitney – Staff has been in contact with FPL and they are waiting for the fixtures. They are still waiting on the fixtures.

Roadway lighting off Seminole Pratt Whitney – The developer in conjunction with FPL is installing the roadway lighting along TCP north, south and the east extension. Some of the poles are lit and others still in process.
