NOTICE OF MUNICIPAL ELECTION

CITY OF WESTLAKE, FLORIDA

Notice is hereby given that the City of Westlake, Florida will hold its Municipal Election, on Tuesday, March 8, 2022, between the hours  of 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at 4601 Seminole Pratt Whitney Road, for the purpose of electing Council Members from Groups 2, 4, and Mayor for a term of four (4) years, by the electorate at large. If a run-off election is necessary, it will be held on Tuesday, March 22, 2022, at the same times and location.

A Candidate must be a registered voter in the State of Florida and have established residency in the City for at least one (1) year prior to the time of qualifying.

Candidates must file in person and may qualify with the Municipal Filing Clerk no earlier than noon, Tuesday, November 2, 2021, and no later than noon, Tuesday, November 9, 2021, at the office of the City Clerk located at 4001 Seminole Pratt Whitney Road, Westlake, Florida. Voter registration book closing is February 7, 2022, for the Municipal Election. Any person wishing to become a registered voter can complete an application form which can be obtained at the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections.

CIUDAD DE WESTLAKE, FLORIDA

POR LA PRESENTE SE DA AVISO de que la Ciudad de Westlake, Florida celebrará sus Elecciones Municipales, el martes 8 de marzo de 2022, entre las 7:00 a.m. y las 7:00 p.m. en 4601 Seminole Pratt Whitney Road, con el propósito de elegir a los miembros del Consejo de los grupos 2, 4 y al Alcalde por un período de cuatro (4) años, por el electorado en general. Si es necesaria una segunda vuelta, se llevará a cabo el martes 22 de marzo de 2022, en el mismo horario y lugar.

Un candidato debe ser un votante registrado en el estado de Florida y haber establecido su residencia en la ciudad durante al menos un (1) año antes del momento de calificar.

Los candidatos deben presentar la solicitud en persona y pueden calificar con la Secretaria Municipal de presentación no antes del mediodía del martes 2 de noviembre de 2021 y no más tarde del mediodía del martes 9 de noviembre de 2021 en la oficina del secretario municipal ubicada en 4001 Seminole Pratt. Whitney Road, Westlake, Florida.

El cierre del libro de registro de votantes es el 7 de febrero de 2022 para las Elecciones Municipales. Cualquier persona que desee registrarse como votante puede completar un formulario de solicitud que se puede obtener en el Supervisor de Elecciones del Condado de Palm Beach.
