Subtropical Storm Nicole - Emergency Declaration

On November 7, 2022, Governor Ron DeSantis issued Executive Order Number 22-253 declaring a state of emergency exists for 34 counties, including Palm Beach County, in anticipation of impacts from Subtropical Storm Nicole.

The City Council of the City of Westlake, Florida, hereby declares a State of Emergency for the City of Westlake, Florida as a result of the threat to the life, health, property or public peace in the City caused by the storm event referred to as Subtropical Storm Nicole.

An Emergency Ordinance will be considered for adoption on December 6, 2022, to allow for emergency appropriations to ensure that the life, safety, and welfare of the residents of the City of Westlake, Florida are served during this emergency.
