Monitoring Hurricane Milton

The City of Westlake is monitoring Hurricane Milton.  Coordination efforts continue to be made with Seminole Improvement District in the monitoring of rain levels and potential flooding.

With the current weather outlook, Palm Beach County may experience Tropical Storm force winds overnight Wednesday and into early Thursday morning.

All services are operating as normal until further notice. Waste collection continues as normal for Tuesday, but as Palm Beach County is in the cone of uncertainty, now is NOT the time to do any major tree / lawn maintenance. It is recommended that due to elevated winds and expected rains, please keep your bulk items and yard waste (for Friday collection) inside until after the storm passes.

We will continue to monitor the storm and will provide any important updates affecting the City. Please continue to monitor local news outlets for potential impacts to the area.
