The City of Westlake is embarking on an exciting journey to develop a Strategic Plan.

This strategic process will guide the future direction of our City, and we believe that your participation is vital in ensuring the long-term success of our bustling new community.

At the core of this process is COLLABORATION.  There will be a collective effort that will require input from community members to include residents, businesses, community organizations, and local leaders. The City values your unique perspectives, and insights, which will help shape a plan to reflect the needs and priorities of our community.

The City Council of the City of Westlake will be participating in a two-day strategic planning workshop meeting to establish goals, objectives, and projects in our City for the next 2-5 years. This workshop, conducted by the International Institute for Leadership Development and Training, will be held in the next couple months.

Before the workshop is conducted, the City Council would very much like to hear from residents and businesses as to what direction the City Council should take to reach its goals and objectives, and the projects it should undertake. Your input is vitally important to the success of this planning process.
