Tax Collector Gannon Offers Commemorative Lapel Pins to Palm Beach County’s Vietnam Veterans

A Grateful Nation Honors You

West Palm Beach, Fla. – Constitutional Tax Collector Anne M. Gannon is pleased to once again, offer a commemorative lapel pin to our county’s Vietnam War Veterans.

“This is a lasting memento of our Nation’s thanks, and I am honored to recognize our veterans and say, ‘Thank you,’ for their service to our country,” said Gannon.  “We must never forget their service and sacrifice and commitment to our country in the decades since the Vietnam War ended.”

Designed by the United States of America Vietnam War Commemoration, a program authorized by Congress, the lapel pins are available to anyone who served on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces between November 1, 1955, and May 15, 1975, regardless of location.

Veterans may request a lapel pin by submitting a request online at www.pbctax.com and the lapel pin will be mailed along with a personal note of appreciation.  Family members may also request a lapel pin on behalf of a veteran.

The Palm Beach County Tax Collector’s Office is partnering with Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles to make these commemorative pins available now through November 30, 2022.
