City of Westlake’s Fourth of July Festival & Fireworks

FourthFest – Tuesday, July 4, 2023

(WESTLAKE, FL) – The City of Westlake is putting the final touches on the 2^nd Annual FourthFest celebration commemorating the Declaration of Independence. The festival, to be held Tuesday, July 4^th, across the street from the Westlake Adventure Park Lodge (5490 Kingfisher Blvd.), will offer activities for kids, teens and adults; live band and musical performances; a variety of great food and market vendors; and a central location for families to watch the fireworks display.  We welcome both residents of Westlake, as well as our neighbors from surrounding communities to join us in the celebration. Admission and parking are both free.

The family, fun-filled day begins at 3:00 PM and the first 1000 guests to visit the City ‘Cool Zone’ tent will receive a fun FourthFest goodie bag.  Country Duo, brother/sister, Juna N Joey, will kick off the entertainment at 4:00 PM with some of their greatest hits and will set the patriotic tone later in the evening with the National Anthem.  Also taking the stage is the Deep Fried Funk Band as they headline our musical performances with your favorite hits.  At 9:00 PM, the evening will close with a dazzling 22-minute fireworks salute to America that will light up the night sky and captivate spectators joining in on the festivities.

Food trucks and vendors will present a variety of options throughout the day that will surely satisfy your appetite.  The fun to be had by the kids will be limitless, from face painting, bounce houses, obstacle courses, slides, games, and the Ultimate Foam Experience presented by GameGo Foam Experience. New this year, will be a variation of market vendors for guests to enjoy and support local small businesses, from IV hydration, baked goods, frozen treats, arts and crafts, mobile fitness, and much more.

Festivities are held in the field off Seminole Pratt Whitney Road between Town Center Parkway North and Town Center Parkway South (across the street from the Adventure Park Lodge – 5490 Kingfisher Blvd.)  Event access, and vehicle and golf cart parking will be available off Seminole Pratt Whitney Road on both Town Center Parkway North and Town Center Parkway South.  ADA accessible parking will be available on Kingfisher Blvd.  Lawn chairs, blankets and sun-umbrellas are welcome; however, BBQ grills or other cooking appliances, coolers or personal fireworks are prohibited.
