NOTICE OF CITY COUNCIL VACANCY

The City Council of the City of Westlake, Florida is accepting applications from those residents interested to fill a vacancy on the Westlake City Council for Group #3.  The term of office will begin immediately upon appointment and will expire March 2024.

City Council will conduct a Workshop to review applications April 19th in the City Council Chambers, 4005 Seminole Pratt Whitney Road, at 6:30 PM. The appointment process will conclude with a selected individual at the Regular City Council Meeting, May 9, 2022, at 6:30 PM.

Qualifications: Must be 18 years of age, a registered voter of the State of Florida, and a resident of the City of Westlake for at least one (1) year prior to appointment.

Please download and complete an Advisory Board/Committee Application from the Boards & Committee page on the City’s Website  - https://www.westlakegov.com/bc and submit along with a resume to the City Clerk’s office by email to zburgess@westlakegov.com by Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at 3:00 PM.
