Notice of Election & Qualifying Period
NOTICE OF GENERAL ELECTION & QUALIFICATION PERIOD
CITY OF WESTLAKE, FLORIDA
Notice is hereby given that the City of Westlake, Florida will hold its Municipal Election, on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at 4601 Seminole Pratt Whitney Road, for the purpose of electing Council Members from Groups 1 and 3, for a term of four (4) years, by the electorate at large. If a run-off election is necessary, it will be held on Tuesday, April 2, 2024, at the same time and location.
A Candidate must be a registered voter in the State of Florida and have established residency in the City for at least one (1) year prior to the time of qualifying.
Candidates must file in person and may qualify with the Municipal Filing Clerk no earlier than noon, Tuesday, November 7, 2023, and no later than noon, Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at the office of the City Clerk located at 4001 Seminole Pratt Whitney Road, Westlake, Florida. Voter registration book closing is February 20, 2024, for the Municipal Election. Any person wishing to become a registered voter can complete an application form which can be obtained at the Palm Beach County Supervisor of Elections.

POR EL PRESENTE SE NOTIFICA que la Ciudad de Westlake, Florida celebrará sus Elecciones Municipales, el día martes 19 de marzo de 2024, en el horario de 7:00 a.m. a 7:00 pm. en 4601Seminole Pratt Whitney Road, con el fin de elegir al
Consejo a Miembros de los Grupos 1 y 3, por un período de cuatro (4) años, por el electorado en general.
Si es necesaria una segunda vuelta, se llevará a cabo el martes 2 de abril de 2024 en la mismo tiempo y lugar. EL candidato debe ser un votante registrado en el estado de Florida y haber establecido residencia en la Ciudad durante al menos un (1) año antes del momento de calificar. Los candidatos deben presentar su solicitud en persona y pueden calificar con el Secretario de Presentación Municipal no antes del MEDIODÍA, martes 7 de noviembre de 2023, y no más tarde del MEDIODÍA, martes, 14 de noviembre de 2023, en la oficina de la Secretaria Municipal ubicada en 4001 Seminole Pratt Whitney Road, Westlake, Florida.
