TRAFFIC ADVISORY: TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES FOR THE 2ND ANNUAL WESTLAKE 5K RUN/WALK & CARNIVAL GAMES
Saturday, January 25, 2025 | 6:00 AM – 10:00 AM

WESTLAKE, FLORIDA (January 21, 2025) – The City of Westlake is excited to host its 2nd Annual 5K Run/Walk & Carnival Games on Saturday, January 25, 2025, a much-anticipated event bringing the community together for fitness, fun, and family-friendly activities while supporting local schools.

To ensure the safety of participants and spectators, temporary road closures will be in effect from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM on the day of the event.

Road Closures Include:

  • Kingfisher Blvd.
  • Town Center Parkway South at Kingfisher
  • Town Center Parkway South at Ilex
  • Persimmon Blvd from Sky Entrance to the entrance to the Grove Market place
  • Terraces at Westlake Entry on Ilex
  • Sky Cove South entrance to Ilex Way
  • Groves at Westlake to Ilex Way

Event activities will take place near Kingfisher Blvd., across from The Lodge at Westlake Adventure Park (5490 Kingfisher Blvd.), and the race will begin promptly at 8:00 AM. On-site registration opens at 6:45 AM, with the carnival games starting at 8:15 AM for registered and bibbed participants.

We encourage residents and visitors to plan accordingly and use alternate routes during this time.
