Monitoring Hurricane Isaias

We are monitoring Hurricane Isaias and Palm Beach County is currently under a Hurricane Watch.  A Hurricane watch means that hurricane conditions are possible within the area. The current forecast shows winds up to 75 MPH and heavy rains which may begin to affect South Florida beginning as early as Saturday afternoon.  There is a potential of isolated flash and urban flooding, especially in low-lying and poor drained areas.  Western communities are anticipated to see 1-3 inches of rain and winds are expected to be half of what is anticipated on the coast.  Residents are encouraged to tune in to local news sources for regular updates, as well as remain vigilant and prepared for storm conditions.  For more information on Hurricane Preparedness, please visit the reference links below.
