NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Westlake City Council will conduct its FIRST BUDGET HEARING, Monday, September 14, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. on the proposed 2020/2021 Fiscal Year Budget. This Budget Hearing shall be held Via Communications Media Technology in accordance with the Governor’s Executive Order 2020-69 (as extended by Executive Orders 20-112, 20-123, 20-139, 20-150 and 20-179), and City of Westlake Executive Order 2020-08.
Due to COVID-19, and the need to ensure public health safety and welfare, this meeting will be conducted without a quorum of its members present physically or at any specific location and utilizing communications media technology such as telephonic or video conferencing, as provided by Section 120.54(5)(b)2, Florida Statutes.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that this is an OPEN MEETING, and the public is encouraged to access and participate in meeting proceedings through electronic or telephonic means as follows:

Consistent with section 286.0105, Florida Statutes, if any interested party wishes to appeal any decision made by the City Council with respect to any matter considered at this meeting, such interested parties will need a record of the proceedings and may need to ensure that a verbatim record is made, including the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 286.26, Florida Statutes, persons with disabilities needing special accommodations in order to participate in this meeting are entitled to the provision of certain assistance.
