NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT on Monday, February 10, 2020, the City of Westlake City Council will hold a Public Council Meeting at 6:30 P.M., or as soon thereafter as possible.  The meeting will take place at the Westlake Community Center/City Council Chambers located at 4005 Seminole Pratt Whitney Road, Westlake, Florida, 33470. 

If any interested party wishes to appeal any decision made by the City Council with respect to any matter considered at this public hearing, such interested parties will need a record of the proceedings and may need to ensure that a verbatim record is made, including the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.

In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 286.26, Florida Statutes, persons with disabilities needing special accommodations in order to participate in this proceeding are entitled to the provision of certain assistance.  Please contact the City Clerk’s Office at 4001 Seminole Pratt Whitney Road, Westlake, Florida; telephone number (561) 530-5880, no later than three (3) business days prior to such proceedings.

LEGAL NOTICE OF PROPOSED ORDINANCE

The City of Westlake City Council proposes to adopt the following Ordinances:

Ordinance No. 2019-10

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF WESTLAKE, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING REGULATIONS FOR PARKING WITHIN THE CITY OF WESTLAKE; PROVIDING FOR PURPOSE AND INTENT; PROVIDING FOR DEFINITIONS; PROVIDING FOR RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL PROPERTY PARKING STANDARDS; ALL OF WHICH SHALL BECOME PART OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, ENTITLED “PARKING REGULATIONS”, PROVIDING FOR CODIFICATION, PROVIDING FOR A CONFLICTS CLAUSE, PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY, AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

Said Ordinance will be considered for second reading and proposed final adoption during the meeting of the City Council to be held on Monday, February 10, 2020 at 6:30 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, in the Westlake Community Center/City Council Chambers located at 4005 Seminole Pratt Whitney Road, Westlake, Florida, 33470, continuing from time to time and place as the said meeting may be adjourned to hear the public.  All interested parties are urged to attend the meeting and be heard.

All documents pertaining to this Ordinance may be inspected by the public in the City Clerk’s Office (561) 530-5880 located at 4001 Seminole Pratt Whitney Road, during regular business hours 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. except for holidays.
