NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Westlake City Council will conduct a Public Hearing on Monday, August 10, 2020 at 6:30 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the agenda permits. The Meeting will be held with a quorum of City Council members physically in attendance at 4005 Seminole Pratt Whitney Road, Westlake, Florida 33470, and other City Council Members and City Staff participating through Communications Media Technology consistent with Emergency Ordinance 2020-08.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that this is an OPEN MEETING, and the public is encouraged to access and participate in meeting proceedings through electronic or telephonic means as follows:

Public Comments will be accepted via an electronic comment card, at least 24 hours prior to the public meeting and also acknowledged during the meeting when participants utilize the “raise your hand” feature during the designated time. Consistent with section 286.0105, Florida Statutes, if any interested party wishes to appeal any decision made by the City Council with respect to any matter considered at this meeting, such interested parties will need a record of the proceedings and may need to ensure that a verbatim record is made, including the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
In accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 286.26, Florida Statutes, persons with disabilities needing special accommodations in order to participate in this meeting are entitled to the provision of certain assistance. The meeting will take place at the Westlake Community Center/City Council Chambers located at 4005 Seminole Pratt Whitney Road, Westlake, Florida, 33470.
If any interested party wishes to appeal any decision made by the City Council with respect to any matter considered at this public hearing, such interested parties will need a record of the proceedings and may need to ensure that a verbatim record is made, including the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
